Job Overview Sharp InfoTech Foundry is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring that software products meet quality standards before deployment. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build experience in software testing and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications. • Perform manual testing to ensure software functionality, usability, and performance. • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to resolve issues. • Participate in functional, regression, integration, and system testing. • Assist in maintaining test documentation and reports. • Support automation testing initiatives when required. • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and QA reviews. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field. • Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes. • Familiarity with manual testing techniques and defect lifecycle. • Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications • Internship or academic project experience in software testing or QA. • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or TestNG. • Exposure to API testing tools like Postman. • Understanding of Agile or Scrum development environments. • Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
